MultiMount Mic
The MultiMount Mic from Covert Arms allows you to turn your hearing protection and helmet into a comms system. Using the velcro mounting solution, you can secure the microphone onto your headset or helmet, plug the 3.5mm into your headphones and the mic plug into your PTT, and you're good to go! The microphone moves easily to allow adjustable placement, and with the variety of PTT options available you can set up the perfect system to fit your needs. Includes 2 velcro patches for many placement options.
The MultiMount Mic is non-amplified and is designed specifically to work with MultiMount Mic PTT systems we sell. We cannot guarantee it will work with any other system.

3 stars because although it works great with the ptt, my uv5r and sordins the biggest issue is with the plastic piece that the velcro is attatched to on the mic end. Once you seat the mic to the sordins with the velcro DO NOT try to just pull it off when you are done using it or you will end up breaking the plastic bit apart, meaning the velcro bits will stay together but the mics plastic housing will tear apart before the velcro lets go. You have to really use your nails or a tool to pry the velcro apart carefully to remove the mic or you will end up breaking it. I would suggest the makers of this product fix this issue with an improved housing or better epoxy to hold it together reliably. That is my only complaint and the only bad failure point I can see as of now.
I purchased the MultiMount Mic PTT (UV5R / P1) and MultiMount Mic and in conjunction with the Sordin Supreme Pro-X LED (75302-X-13-S) they all work together extremely well. I'm not MIL/LE but this setup is a viable option for folks looking for an integrated communication/ear pro setup. The Sordin has excellent sound fidelity. Anyhow just trying to help out by giving some feedback. Thanks again for the real-person customer service! Just to be clear I am not using this in an operational situation, just some hunting in the woods and light field testing.
Good product. Velcro a bit slacky but gotta put strong pressure to make it stick.
I was on the fence between ordering this one and the cheaper ones on Amazon. Glad I got this one. The build quality is very nice and it works well with my radio.
